With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Alvin Pettig (Warrenton, Missouri), who passed away on February 16, 2020 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, George Pettig and Edna Pettig (Franklin); his siblings, Imajewell Hackel (Vernon) and Erlloyd Pettig; and his daughter Cheryl Lynn.
He is survived by: his wife Anna Mae Pettig (Swoboda); his children, Sharon Charlton and Gary Pettig (Nancy) of Warrenton; his grandchildren, Joe Straatmann (Sarah) of St. Clair, Casey Lafferty (Alex) of Warrenton, Brad Pettig of Warrenton and Jenna Straatmann of Beaufort; his great grandchildren, Matt, Barrett Straatmann and Ivary Lafferty; his sister-in-law Elda Pettig of Hermann; and his niece Carlene Vetter of Warrenton.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to the Lippstadt Cemetery Fund.
