She was predeceased by: her parents, Fred Griffith and Esther Griffith (Carlson); her husband Dr. T. Reed Maxson of Children's Mercy Hospital; her sister Dr. Ruth Griffith (T. Reed Maxson); her mother-in-law Hazel Maxson; her children, Tristan Maxson and Marla Maxson; and her son-in-law Jeff Ikerd.
She is survived by: her daughter Melany Laws (Harry); her daughter-in-law Raphael Maxson; her grandchildren, Casey Ikerd, Rob Rogers, Erin Neff (Dave), Lane Rogers and Tad Laws (Alex); her great grandchildren, Zachary, Emily Ikerd, Pippa, Gavin, Georgiana Neff, Theo and Cooper Laws; and her caregiver Julie Getz.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, December 6th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Warrensburg First United Methodist Church (141 E Gay St, Warrensburg, MO 64093). A graveside service will be held on Friday, December 6th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 12:30 PM at the Sunset Hill Cemetery (604 Colbern St, Warrensburg, MO 64093).
