She was predeceased by: her parents, Louis McGehee and Thelma McGehee (McBride); her husband Gary F. Braun; and her children, Robin Thompson and Bob Braun.
She is survived by: her son Tim Braun (Emily) of Carrollton, MO; her children-in-law, Jeri Braun of Warrensburg, MO and Phil Thompson of Warrensburg, MO; her grandsons, Cole Langford-Braun (Seth) of Kansas City, MO, Caleb Braun of Raymore, MO, Collin Braun of Greenwood, MO, Max Braun of Carrollton, MO, Mason Braun of Carrollton, MO, Brodie Braun of Carrollton, MO and Ryan Thompson (Karen) of Warrensburg, MO; and her sister Joan Carter (Larry) of Springfield, MO. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, October 23rd 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Williams Funeral Chapel (1400 S Maguire St, Warrensburg, MO 64093). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, October 23rd 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Wednesday, October 23rd 2024 at the Sunset Hill Cemetery (604 Colbern St, Warrensburg, MO 64093).
