He was predeceased by: his parents, Ewell Elton and Lois Elaine Kennedy Thompson; and his sister Aleta "Jill" Thompson. He is survived by: his sister Victoria Wainscott (Richard) of Boonville; his nephews, Matthew Studley and Eric Wainscott; and his niece Amy Ivicsics. He is also survived by seven great nieces and nephews and one great-great nephew.
