He is survived by: his children, Shawn Groom (Nikki), Katlyn of Clinton, MO and Makayla of Clinton, MO; his siblings, Marlene Brown, Diane Sakowski, Marcia Cadis, Tim Groom, David Rogers and Jonalene Kruse; and his son Mike Nelson. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and extended family.
