It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sadie E. Mapes of Warrensburg, Missouri, born in Palestine, Texas, who passed away on June 13, 2021, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Martin A. "Red" Johnson and Dorothy Lillian Johnson (Green); her husband Roy Albert Mapes; her daughter Linda Cox; her siblings, Jessie Florence Leary and Martin A. Johnson, Jr.; and her grandson David R. Williams.
She is survived by: her children, Shirley Ann "Sam" Collins (Mickey) of Leeton, MO and Russell J. Mapes (Teresa) of Deepwater, MO. She is also survived by ten grandchildren, several great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
