He is survived by: his former wife Sherry Capps Fischer; his children, Sonya Baumgartner (Cory Fischer) and Christopher Fischer (Michelle); his sisters, Patricia Franken (Smith-Merriott) and Norma June Adams (Smith-Merriott); his uncles, Delbert Smith and Vaughn Smith; and his aunt Joan Burnett. He is also survived by 6 grandchildren.
