She is survived by: her children, John Penrose (Makell) of Holladay, Utah, Jeff Penrose (Kristen) of Knoxville, Tennessee, Kevin Penrose of Independence, Missouri, Brett Penrose (Monica) of Kingsville, Missouri, Mehl Penrose (Eddie Suárez) of Chevy Chase, MD, David Penrose (Cie Gafford) of Warrensburg, Michael Penrose (Cheris Woolever) of North Hollywood, California, Jennifer Triplett (Richard) of Washington and Rebecca Penrose (Tom Botts) of Knob Noster, Missouri; her nieces, Teresa Pearce (David) and Christie Delaney; and her grandchildren, Matthew, Jonathan, Addie, Kate, Michael, Christopher, Ariel, Eric and Sebastian.
The family suggests that donations be made out to the American Heart Association or the Johnson County Cancer Foundation.
