He was predeceased by: his parents, William Carl and Leona Baker (Narron); his wife Martha Frances Walz; his children, Gwendlwin Grotzinger and Jeffrey Baker; and his granddaughter Ginny Grotzinger.
He is survived by: his son Robert 'Bobby Baker (Julie) of Warrensburg; his daughter-in-law Terrie Baker of Warrensburg; his sister Neomia Mae Taraba; and his close friend Peggy Nuckles. He is also survived by five grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren.
Memorial contributions in Buddy's honor are suggested to the Johnson County Cancer Foundation or the Alzheimer's Association and may be left in care of the funeral home.
