He is survived by: his children, Ricky Joe Weir, III, Kimberly Wheeler and Izabella Weir; his brother Rusty W. Curtner; his half-siblings, Brandon Wier and Nichole Weir; his uncles, Clayton Curtner and John Curtner; his nieces and nephews, Misty Wilson, Austin Martel, Taylor Martel, Autumn Curtner and Jonathan Curtner Allison Curtner; and also Nicole Curtner.
In lieu of flowers the family asks that memorials be made to the National Suicide Awareness Hotline in Ricky's name.
