We are sad to announce that on June 18, 2023, at the age of 89, Richard Raymond Carr of Warrensburg, Missouri, born in Des Moines, Iowa passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond W. Carr and Myra S. Carr; his wife Dr. Kathryn S. Carr; and his grandson Matthew Allan Carr. He is survived by: his children, Rochelle Carr Needham (Gary) of Crested Butte, CO and Stephen T. Carr (Debbie) of Belton, MO; his grandchildren, Amelia Rae Needham, Joshua Michael Carr (Katlyn) and Brenton Short; and his great grandchildren, Sebastian and Paige Needham.
The family suggests memorial contributions to the Carr Graduate Reading Scholarship at the University of Central Missouri or to the Warrensburg First United Methodist Church, which can be left in care of Sweeney-Phillips & Holdren Funeral Home.
