He was predeceased by: his brother-in-law Wayne Katz; and his parents-in-law, Woody Austin and Elsie Austin. He is survived by: his mother Cledys Louise Markley (Beard) of Warrensburg; his wife Mary Markley of Warrensburg; his daughters, Melissa Livengood (Bryan) of Warrensburg and Tracy Shippy (Clint) of Centerview; his grandsons, Tyler Livengood (Peyton) of Warrensburg and Austin Livengood; his siblings, Charles Markley (Renee) of Loch Lloyd, Dennis Markley (Cathy) of Platte City, Diana Holdinghausen (Mark) of Washington, Susan Urie (Chris) of Wheatland and Ron Markley (Tina) of Pleasant Hill; and his sisters-in-law, Karol Katz of Kansas City and Janis Barker of Kansas City. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
