It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Peggy Derrington of Warrensburg, Missouri, born in Jackson, Tennessee, who passed away on May 5, 2024, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Curtis Dinwiddie, Jr. and Atha Priestly Dinwiddie (Carlton); her husband Horace R. Derrington; her brother Grady Carlton Dinwiddie; and her sister-in-law Adne Stewart Dinwiddie.
She is survived by: her sister Mollie M. Dinwiddie of Warrensburg; her nieces, Elise Niemeyer Barry (Willard) of Lee's Summit, MO, Erin M. Niemeyer of Lee's Summit, MO, Debra Voss (Fred) of Slidell, LA and Anita Dinwiddie; her nephew Glen Dinwiddie (Debbie) of Kenner, LA; her great-nieces and great-nephews, Lucas, Lance Barry, Victor, Brandi Voss, Ben Aiken, Rebecca Aiken Brunner (Eric), Christina Swicegood (Andrew) and Greg Dinwiddie (Fe); her stepson Raymond Derrington of Bell Buckle, TN; and her stepgrandchildren, John Derrington and Anna Derrington Walker (Will) of Nashville, TN.. She is also survived by two great-great nieces and one great-great nephew.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Warrensburg Church of Christ or to the Old Drum Animal Shelter and left in care of the funeral home.
