He was predeceased by: his parents, Allie Holmes and Marie Holmes; and his siblings, Neal Holmes of Raytown, MO and Velma Peterson of Madison, WI.. He is survived by: his wife Carol; his sons, Tom, Tim, Ted and Todd; and his stepchildren, Jeff Benton and Shannon Watt.
In lieu of flowers the family has requested memorial contributions to be made to The First Christian Church Building Fund and they can be left in care of the Sweeney-Phillips and Holdren Funeral Home.
