She was predeceased by: her parents, Carl Hook and Ida Juanita Hook (Rex); her husband Samuel Yancey; her son Phil Yancey; her grandson Roger Yancey; her son-in-law Hank Cook; and her siblings, Jo Ann Shackelford, Jimmy Hook and Gerald Hook.
She is survived by: her children, Debbie Cook, Roger Yancey, Jesse Yancey (Sheria) and Kathy Cox (Mel); her daughter-in-law Helen Yancey; her grandchildren, Jennie Woody (Brian), Wayne Yancey (Michele), Stacy Heckadon (Heath), Zachary Yancey (Amy), Crissy Kauffman, Danielle Shirley (Danny), Samantha Dunn (Brett), Joshua Blake, Sheri Morris, Ronnie Cox and Alexandra Cook; her great grandchildren, Dalton, Zane Woody, Silas Yancey, Taylor Brown (Dalton), Riley, Baylee Heckadon, Cole Heckadon (Whitney), Natalie Heckadon, Brayden, Camden, Paxden Yancey, Kyleigh, Karsen, Tucker Kauffman, Dexter, Deacon, Demi Shirley, Holden, Bryer and Stetson Dunn; and her sisters, Leslie Adams and Cheryl Hook. She is also survived by nine great great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, December 10th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Sweeney-Phillips & Holdren Funeral Home (617 N Maguire St, Warrensburg, MO 64093). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, December 11th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
Memorial contributions are suggested to the American Legion Auxiliary Foundation and left in care of the funeral home.
