He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Smith and Nellie Smith (Little). He is survived by: his wife Judith Smith; his children, Sherry Verrant (John), Susan Smith, William Smith (Kimberly) and Sandi McKenzie (Doug); his grandchildren, Christopher Smith (Whitney), Daniel Smith (Lauren), McKenna Smith, John Verrant, Katie Verrant, Taylor McKenzie, Jaeden McKenzie and Rhys McKenzie; his great grandchildren, Clara, Ella, Avery and Hallie; and his brother Charles Daugherty. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
