It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Karen Lee Caruthers-Carter (Warrensburg, Missouri), born in Wichita, Kansas, who passed away on December 1, 2023, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Clifford M. Caruthers and Anna Marie Bridges Caruthers of Saffordville, Kansas.; her husband J. C. Carter; her daughter Reva Henegar; her brother Mack Caruthers; her great grandchild Jackson Lee Carleton; and her parents-in-law, Ethlyn Carter and Buford Carter.
She is survived by: her nephew Geoffrey Miller; her daughter Kelly Carleton; and her sisters, Carol Green and Sharon Miller. She is also survived by five nieces, one nephew, two granddaughters, one grandson and four great grandchildren.
