He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Nichol and Florence Deardorff; his wife Joan Pfannkuch of Concordia, Missouri.; his grandsons, Charles Wetzel and James "Jim" Hutchison; his great grandchild Kayden Wetzel; his siblings, Louise Kendrick, Lucille Woodson and Robert "Bob" Nichol; his son-in-law David Manken; and his nephews, John Pfannkuch and Kevin Woodson.
He is survived by: his daughters, Rebeca Lynn, Brenda Ellebracht (John), Rebecca "Becky" Silvers (Wayne), Flora Thurman, Bobbie Brooks (Don) and Rachel Nichol. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren, and four great-great-grandchildren.
Memorial contributions are suggested to Bethlehem Lutheran Church and can be left in care of the funeral home.
