He was predeceased by: his parents, John Ott and Letha Ott (Taney Franks); his wife Shirley J. Ott; and his brother Marion "Dude" Ott. He is survived by: his nieces, Holly Sapp (Trent) of Knob Noster and Lorinda Truex of Leeton; and his sister-in-law Lois Ott of Warrensburg. He is also survived by 3 great nieces, and 3 great-great nieces.
