It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jeanette Jane Douglas of Warrensburg, Missouri, born in Nevada, Missouri, who passed away on October 5, 2024, at the age of 47, leaving to mourn family and friends. She is survived by: her mother Connie Jane Douglas (Hartley) of Moundville, MO; her son Alex Smith (Hailee) of Carthage, MO; her grandchildren, Cain Smith, Astrid Smith and Freyja Smith; her father Jim Douglas; her siblings, Rod Douglas (Leta) of Moundville, MO, Ben Douglas (Debbie) of Moundville, MO, Wendy Mitchell (Phillip) of Kansas City, MO and Nicole MaCree (Tony) of Kansas City, MO; and her friends, Latasha Zabala of Warrensburg, MO. and Vanesa Zabala of Warrensburg, MO.. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins.
