We bid farewell to Jack Summit of Warrensburg, Missouri, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on December 29, 2024 at the age of 84. Jack touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, David Summitt and Reecie Johnson; and his wife Nita Summitt. He is survived by: his children, Jack Willis Summitt Jr. (Kelly) of Warsaw, Jacqueline Wiggins of Gladstone, Anita Maasen of Baldwin City and Leslie Sechrest of Holden, Missouri; his brother Frank Summitt; his grandchildren, Rachel West, Ashley Wiggins, Brooke Wiggins, Zachary Waite, Cameron Waite, Melissa Dill and Justin Dill; and his close friend Linda Kerby. He is also survived by seven great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, January 6th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Sweeney-Phillips & Holdren Funeral Home (617 N Maguire St, Warrensburg, MO 64093). A funeral service was held on Monday, January 6th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Monday, January 6th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Warrensburg Memorial Gardens Cemetery (228 MO-13, Warrensburg, MO 64093).
