She was predeceased by: her parents, George W. Bradshaw and Bertha McKee Bradshaw; her husband Claude W. Bayless; her siblings, Audrey Truman, Georgia Yoder, Frank, Orlin and Shirley Mac Bradshaw; and her stepgranddaughter Lisa Wynn.

She is survived by: her daughter Claudette; her son-in-law Ron Akins of Lee's Summit, MO; her granddaughter Ashley Tatum (Seth); her great grandchildren, Emily and Miles; her stepgrandchildren, Scott Akins and Stacey Ueligger (Travis); and her sister Betty Foster of Lee's Summit, MO. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
