The memory of Helen Elder of Warrensburg, Missouri, born in Columbus, Georgia, who passed away on July 27, 2024 at the age of 87, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. She was predeceased by: her parents, Dan Hollis Sr. and Gertrude E. Hollis (McSheehan); her husband Robert E. Elder; and her siblings, Frances Covington, Evelyn Hollis, Dan Hollis and Billy Hollis.
She is survived by: her children, Gay Samborski (Joe) of Bates City, Peggy Mainard (Chuck) of Oak Grove, Robyn Elder of Warrensburg, Shelly Elder of Bates City and Michael Elder (Glenda) of Warrensburg. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren: 10 great - great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
