He was predeceased by: his parents, Juanita Lea Knowles and William Knowles; his siblings, Thomas Knowles (Linda) and Paula Kopp; and his former wife Delores Knowles.
He is survived by: his wife Betty Knowles; his son William Knowles (Robin); his stepchildren, Darrell Schupp (Betsy), Sheryl Schupp and Leigh Rogus (Joe); and his grandchildren, Alyssa, Blake, Malena, Christopher, John, Sara and Joseph. He is also survived by great-grandchildren.
