We bid farewell to Ella Mae Matthews of Warrensburg, Missouri, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on December 23, 2024 at the age of 93. Ella Mae touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Dan Whitman and Evelyn Whitman (Cunningham); her daughter Karen Fern Yanez (Matthews); and her husband Bud Matthews. She is survived by: her son James David Matthews (Annette) of Warrensburg; and her grandchildren, Kristie Brinkley (Bill), Doug Yanez (Wendy), Julie Montgomery (Mark), Jamie Brisbin (Matt) and Brian Matthews (Kim). She is also survived by ten great grandchildren and three great-great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, December 29th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM. A funeral service will be held on Monday, December 30th 2024 at 10:30 AM at the Williams Warrensburg Chapel (1400 S Maguire St, Warrensburg, MO 64093).
Memorial Contributions may be left to Oak Grove Community Church or Oak Grove Cemetery Association in care of Williams.
