He was predeceased by: his siblings, William and Rose Jean Collins. He is survived by: his wife Martha Smarr of Warrensburg; and his children, Donna Stelling (Larry) of Cole Camp, Rex Smarr (Adrienne) of Warrensburg, Deborah Files (Charles) of Cameron, Kenneth Smarr (Susan) of Chilhowee and Diane Corbett (Randy) of Knob Noster. He is also survived by 18 grandchildren and 28 great grandchildren.
Memorial contributions are suggested to the First Christian Church Organ Fund or the Johnson County Cancer Foundation and can be left in care of Sweeney-Phillips & Holdren Funeral Home.
