It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Denniss James Spanton of Warrensburg, Missouri, born in Albee, South Dakota, who passed away on October 10, 2023, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, James "Jim" Spanton and Verna Spanton (Spiering). He is survived by: his wife Patricia A. Spanton; his children, Renata Spanton-Jones and Scott Spanton (Beth); his grandchildren, Zachery Jones, Tyler Spanton, Jessica Spanton, Troy Spanton and Allison Moss (Wesley); his sister Lana Vanderburgh (Richard); his sister-in-law Gale Mittelstaedt; his friend Nate Stevenson; and his in-laws, Charles and Myrtle Mittelstaedt. He is also survived by several cousins and brother and sister in laws.
