With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Darrell Witt (Warrensburg, Missouri), born in Bucyrus, Kansas, who passed away on April 19, 2020 at the age of 79. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Darrell Witt to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Irwin C. Witt and Opal V. Witt (Lininger); his son Jeffery Witt; and his sisters, Betty Reynolds and Shirley Asbury.
He is survived by: his significant other Darlene Simpson; and his sons, Mark Witt (Teresa) of Princeton, TX, Clark Witt (Shirley) of Warrensburg, MO, Brian Witt of Plano, TX, Bradley Witt (Beverly) of Plano, TX and Donald Simpson (Kathi) of Blue Springs, MO. He is also survived by five grandsons, four granddaughters, five great-grandsons, and two great-granddaughters.
Due to the Covid-19 pandemic a memorial service and burial will be held at a later date.
Memorial contributions are suggested to the Community Blood Center and can be left in care of Sweeney-Phillips and Holdren Funeral Home.
