He is survived by: his wife Judy "Jo" Gilbert; his daughters, Mary Hemme of St. Louis, MO, Dana Morrison (Rick) of Centerview, MO and Sarah Smith (Mark) of Calhoun, MO; his grandchildren, Kitty McDowell (Eric) of Wartburg, TN, Jesse Welch (Alisha) of Warrensburg, MO, Jacob Welch of Warrensburg, MO, Kelsey Van Moorsel (Geert) of St. Louis, MO, Kennedy Hemme of St. Louis, MO, Faith Morrison of Warrensburg, MO and Ryan Hemme of St. Louis, MO; his great grandchildren, Clay McDowell of Wartburg, TN, Harley McDowell of Wartburt, TN, Jayden Welch of Warrensburg, MO, Hailey Welch of Warrensburg, MO and Kayson Welch of Warrensburg, MO; and his sister-in-law Shirley Hendrickson. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
