He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Mitchell Robinson and Hettie Eunice Robinson (Lawson); his sons, Todd (Sarah) of Colorado and Kevin (Julie) of Oklahoma; his stepson Michael Parks (Jennifer) of Illinois; and his siblings, Paul (Ann) of Texas, Katherine and Darlene. He was also cherished by nine grandchildren, and nine great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to the Veterans Assistance League.
