She was predeceased by: her parents, Loyal Lee Newton (Jim) and Charlotte Irene Helscher Newton; and her husband Jerry Wayne Green. She is survived by: her brothers, Russell, Natoma, Wellington, Stafford and Preston; her children, Shelly Green of Warrensburg, MO and Jim Green of Warrensburg, MO; her grandsons, Tyler Parr and Jackson Green (Alison); her great grandchildren, Marley and Finn; her grandchildren, Haley Parr and Noah Green; and her brothers, Dr. Thomas A. Newton of Tahlequah, OK and Michael E. Newton (Diana) of Wichita, KS. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
There is nothing we really need, but if you want to celebrate the life of one of the sweetest, funniest, kindest and most caring people ever to have lived, do so by just doing something nice for someone, whether it be a smile, a compliment, giving the benefit of the doubt, forgiving a friend or family member, or if you are so compelled, donating to a shelter, a food pantry or a person in need at the grocery store.
