He is survived by: his wife Joanna Bird; his children, Karen Otero of Olathe, KS and Tim Fleener of St. Louis, MO; his granddaughter Jillian Otero of Olathe, KS.; and his sisters, Patty Bond and Margie Fleener of Warrensburg.
