He was predeceased by: his parents, Clair Albert and Martha Barner (Ruhl); his brothers, Harold, Robert and David; his granddaughter Shannon Gaddis; and his nephew Ken Barner.
He is survived by: his children, Ronald Barner (Amy), Deborah Gaddis (Rick), Jeff Barner and Sherry Fetzer; his siblings, Mary Watson, Ward Barner (Shirley) and Samuel Barner (Connie); and his grandchildren, David Barner (Crissy), Greg Barner (Natalie), Ryan Barner and Arielle Wagner (Nathan). He is also survived by 6 great-grandchildren; several nieces, nephews and other extended family.
