He was predeceased by: his parents, Rufus Teter and Mayme Teter (Britt); his wife Marjorie Ann Kersten; his son Michael Teter; and his siblings, Donald Teter, William Teter, Raymond''Jack'' Teter and Mildred Hendrickson.
He is survived by: his daughter Melissa Garno (Mark); his grandson Daniel Teter (Andrla); and his great grandchildren, Benjamin Teter and Wesley Teter.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, November 5th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Williams Funeral Chapel (1400 S Maguire St, Warrensburg, MO 64093). A graveside service was held on Wednesday, November 6th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Missouri Veterans Cemetery (20109 MO-13 BUS, Higginsville, MO 64037).
