It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Josephine Marie Stinson of Wappapello, Missouri, born in Pontiac, Michigan, who passed away on October 19, 2020, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Homer Treadway and Rosa Violet Long Treadway; and her siblings, William Treadway, Harold Treadway and Mae Pope.
She is survived by: her husband Horace Abner Stinson; her children, Doug Stinson (Sheila) of Puxico, Missouri, Connie Floyd (Jerry) of Cedar Hill and Angela Walker (Terry) of Wappapello, Missouri; her siblings, Wayne Treadway of Livingston, Texas, Joyce Fortune of Newberg and Norma Nash of Marshfield, Missouri; her grandchildren, Doug Stinson Jr., Rhonda Hunneycutt, Terri McCart and Ronald Floyd; her great grandchildren, Cody Stinson, Anthony Peters, Emily Welty, Brendan McCart and Megan McCart; and her great great grandchildren, Remington Huggins, Braden Welty, Audrey McCart and Reese Marie Peters.
The Stinson family requests that everyone wear a mask.
