It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joe Payne of Wappapello, Missouri, born in Blytheville, Arkansas, who passed away on November 23, 2022, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond Payne and Louise Payne; and his brothers, Jimmy, Don and Jerry Payne.

He is survived by: his wife Carole; his sons, Joel (Christen) and Jeffrey (Lauren); his grandchildren, Tiffany Thompson (William) of Ramstein, AB, Germany, Jeremy Payne of Tuscaloosa, Jacob Payne (Jasmine) of Brandon and Nickolas Payne of Brandon, Mississippi; his great grandchildren, Olivia Thompson, Nora Thompson, Brynn Thompson (Tiffany), Alayna Wolfe, Stella Payne and Willow Payne (Jacob); and his brother Jon Payne of Marion, Arkansas..

In lieu of flowers, memorials can be sent in Joe's name to Little Brushy Missionary Baptist Church at 8348 Highway T, Wappapello, Missouri, 63966.
