He was predeceased by: his father Henry C. Boatner; his daughter Sharyn Lynn; his brothers, Thomas Glen and William D. Boatner; and his friend Vida Blazier.
He is survived by: his wife Joyce Ann Ford; his children, Skip Boatner (Linda) of Poplar Bluff, Scott (Gina) and Carolyn Jones (Fletcher) of Boomer, NC; his grandchildren, Kinnard, Kyle, Amanda, Alicia and Shawna; and his brother Bob Boatner (Debbie) of Diamondhead, MS. He is also survived by Several great grandchildren.
