It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Frederick Joseph Fortman of Wappapello, Missouri, who passed away on January 10, 2024, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Frederick Henry and Agnes Mary Gass Fortman; and his siblings, Leo Fortman, Paul Fortman, Jim Fortman, Virginia Pentecost and Susan Allen.
He is survived by: his siblings, Bernard Fortman of Troy, Willie Fortman of Dexter, Richard Fortman of Campbell, Agnes Altmeyer of Evansville, Mary Bernadine Fortman of Glennonville and Cecilia Fortman of St. Peters; his close friend Carol Studt of Wappapello; and also Donna Miller of Wappapello. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
