He was predeceased by: his wife Dorthy Fields Massey; his parents, Oscar Stroud and Ruth Stroud; and his grandson Chris Sanders. He is survived by: his children, Chester Stroud (Vickie) of Poplar Bluff, Thomas Stroud of Wappapello, Mitchell Dering (Lily) of Puxico, Missouri, Earnestdean Hornback of Wappapello, Danniel Nickey Williams (Brent) of Poplar Bluff and Jasmine Dering of Poplar Bluff, Missouri; his grandchildren, Leslie, Tom, Josh Andrew (April) and Steven Sanders; his great grandchildren, Candace, Roger, Jacque, Zoey, Savanna and Lily; and his great great grandchildren, Madi, Kody, Grayson, Charlie, Layden and Ava.
