He was predeceased by: his parents, Lenard Norman and Ollie Norman; his son Bobby Joe Norman Jr.; and his siblings, Dorothy Martin, Mary Sadler, Terry Norman, Alvie Pete Norman, Eugene Norman and James Richard Norman.
He is survived by: his wife Naomi Hudson; his children, Lenard Bruce Norman of Granite City, IL. and Rhonda Kay Eads (Brian) of Valmeyer, IL.; and his siblings, Lois Patton, Gloria Flowers, Leonard Junior Norman and William Arthur Norman. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren.
