It is with great sadness that we announce the death of George Penn Jones of Walnut Shade, Missouri, born in Springfield, Missouri, who passed away on May 17, 2022, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. He is survived by: his wife Gayleen Jones; his daughters, Susan Kay Clingan (Kevin) and Molly Plate (Mike) of Springfield; and his grandchildren, Sara Clingan Singh (Joy) of Miami, FL, Kyle Clingan of Virginia Beach, VA, Chris Plate (Rachel) of Charlotte, NC, Ben Plate (Courtney) of Honolulu, HI and Emma Raub (Jacob) of Springfield.
