With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Linnie McGowen (Walnut Grove, Missouri), born in Eudora, Missouri, who passed away on June 8, 2023 at the age of 94. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Pauline Edith Thompson (McCulley) and Alvin William Thompson; her siblings, Allen Leon "Buck" Thompson, William Raydean "Pete" Thompson and Grace Anna Yokley (Thompson); her grandson Daniel Louis; and her nephews, Tony, Wade and Ronnie.
She is survived by: her spouse Arlie "Mac" McGowen; her sister Hannah Mae (Thompson); and her grandchildren, Dennis Wheeler (Josephine) of Hawaii, Stephanie Wheeler De Iongh (Byron), Robert Combs Wheeler, Deanna Wheeler Neerings (Russell), Linnsey Wheeler (Ethan), Melanie Wheeler Trotter (Chris), Kimberlee Wheeler Mason Dana (Terry), Rachele Pendergrass (Michael), Amanda Wheeler Boes (Mat) and David Wheeler. She is also survived by 18 great grandchildren, 3 great, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews, great nieces and great nephews, other family, and friends.
