With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Leland Dale Melton of Walnut Grove, Missouri, who passed away on March 8, 2023 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his father Leland Edward Melton; his daughter Beth Chainey; his wife Donna Melton; and his mother Lucille Melton (Campbell). He is survived by: his children, Karen Melton (Springfield), Linda Bean (Walnut Grove) and David Melton (Beth); his siblings, Gary Melton and Brenda Buddette; and his grandchildren, Casey Unger of Chris, JP, David, Sarah Chainey, Willie Bean, Jessica Fortner, Cole and Claire Melton. He is also survived by 11 Great grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins and friends.
