He is survived by: his wife Judi Sheets of Villa Ridge; his children, Colonel John Sheets (Maria) of Yorktown, VA and Lieutenant Colonel; his sisters, Ethel Black of Fort Smith, AR and Frances Stubblefield of Spiro, OK; and his grandchildren, Noah Sheets of Clinton, MS and Peyton Sheets of Yorktown, VA.
