She was predeceased by: her parents, Gerald Hahn and Mae Hahn; her husband Joseph Barnard, Sr.; and her brother Richard Hahn. She is survived by: her children, Joseph Barnard (Jean), James Barnard, John Barnard (Sandy), Teresa King and Jeff Barnard; her grandchildren, Kelly, Richard (Jennifer), Johnny, Jimmy (Lauren), James, Erica, Jason Justin and Steven; and also, Patricia Meyer and Delores. She is also survived by nineteen great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews, cousins and many friends.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, February 26th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Thursday, February 27th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Russell Colonial Funeral Home (530 E Springfield Rd, St Clair, MO 63077). A funeral service was held on Thursday, February 27th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
