We are sad to announce that on May 28, 2024, at the age of 81, John R. Fortner of Villa Ridge, Missouri, born in Kirkwood, Missouri passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Harvey Lee Fortner Sr. and Sophie Veronica Fortner; and his siblings, Mary Psaris and Harvey Fortner Jr.. He is survived by: his children, Christine Seko, Bonita Dauer (Daniel) and Thomas Fortner (Beth Adams); his wife Patricia Fortner; his grandchildren, Gregory, Elizabeth and Daniel Seko; and his children, Tristan (Madison Varble), Drew Dauer, Vincent and Anthony Fortner. He is also survived by his siblings, nieces, nephews, and many other relatives and friends.

Memorial donations may be made to St. Francis Borgia Food Pantry and St. John the Baptist Church.
