He was predeceased by: his parents, Vernon Albert and Dorothy Mae Helton (Green); his children, Stanley W. Helton, Rhonda Catherine Helton and Susan Ann Helton; his brothers, Warren F. Helton and Roger Helton; and his half-siblings, Arlen Helton, Arthur Helton, Lorene O'Haver, Louise Vemmer and Lola Mae Deleshmit.
He is survived by: his wife Alice; his children, Dale Helton (Margie) of Meta, Ron Helton (Darlene) of Westphalia, Vernon Helton (Amy) of Vienna and Diane James (Jay) of Vienna; his siblings, Sonny Helton (Robin) of Vienna, Leona Williams of Branson and Joyce Sallin (Ron); his half-brother Harold Helton of Ironton; and his sisters-in-law, Mary Joyce Helton of Vienna and Tracy Helton of Vienna. He is also survived by nine grandchildren; thirteen great-grandchildren.
