She was predeceased by: her parents, Willard M. Crews and Hazel Irene Crews (George); and her siblings, Roland Crews, Willard Terrance Crews, Medford "Doogie" Crews and Judy Ann Forshey (Crews).

She is survived by: her husband Bobby; her sons, Michael Copeland (Cynthia) of Washington and Jamey Copeland (Peggy) of Jefferson City; her grandchildren, Amber Struemph, Zach Copeland, Josh Copeland, Morgan Copeland and Cayla Copeland; and her great grandchild Isabelle Copeland. She is also survived by many other relatives; and a host of friends.

At the death of a classmate, Phyllis was one of the individuals to see that a memorial tribute was sent from the class.
