He was predeceased by: his parents, Travis Earl, Sr. and Grace Lillian John (Manhenke); his wife Irene; his son Scot Murphy John; his brothers, Travis John, Jr. and Donald "Don" John; and his son-in-law Roger Bullock.
He is survived by: his children, Beth Clinkenbeard (Gary) of Vienna, Brenda Stafford (John) of Columbia, Chris John (Brenda) of Vienna and Becky Steffen (Greg) of Vienna; his grandchildren, Laura (Bill Patton), Rachel (Luke McKenney), Joan (Greg Dyer), Sara Stafford, Seth John, Annie John, Colin John, Jordyn Steffen and Max Steffen; his great grandchildren, Benton Patton, Weston Patton, Grace McKenney, Max McKenney, Miles Dyer, Jacob Dyer and Ethan Dyer; and his stepgrandchildren, Tiffany Clinkenbeard, Ami, Danny Hartwig, Jack, Cora, Walter, Madison, Leslie, Brad Ream, Trey, Abbe, Kelsie, Josh (Emmett), Haiden, Spencer (Ivy), Owen and Kaden. He is also survived by wife and other relatives.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in memory of Dr. Max John are suggested by his family to go to the Vienna United Methodist Church or the Loaves and Fishes Food Pantry with envelopes available the day of service at the Methodist Church or in care of Birmingham-Martin Funeral Home, P.O.
