As Eugene departs from this earthly realm, his essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Eugene may no longer walk beside us, his spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Eugene leaves behind.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Meyer and Leona Helen Meyer (Lock); his siblings, Harold Meyer and Rita Falter (Roman); and his brother-in-law Harold Falter.
He is survived by: his sisters, Judy Falter of Freeburg and Doris Lehmen (Leon) of Freeburg. He is also survived by ten nephews and nieces, several great nephews and nieces, and great-great nephews and nieces; and many other relatives and friends.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, November 12th 2024 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the St. Boniface Catholic Church (3974 Hwy T, Koeltztown, MO 65048). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Tuesday, November 12th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
Memorial contributions in memory of Mr. Eugene J. "EJ" Meyer are suggested to the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital with envelopes at the church the day of service or in care of Birmingham-Martin Funeral Home, P.O. Box 250, Vienna, MO 65582.
